Two styles of Brooks Furniture glider rockers are included in the recall. They include a beige vinyl upholstery and locking mechanisms. The logo for Brooks Furniture can be found on a label on the seat cushions. So far, the company has received 29 reports of cases involving the spindles of the chair separating or loosening on the glider’s base. There haven’t been any reported injuries as of yet. Consumers are urged to discontinue using the glider rocker immediately and get in touch with Brooks Furniture immediately to receive a replacement base free of charge. The products were sold by Kaplan Early Learning Co. across the country between 2011 and 2012 for around $390 each. The products were made in the United States. If you believe you own a product included in this recall, contact the company as soon as possible in order to receive a replacement for the product, according to news reports.
